Welcome to Cadre 9's online portal for EDC 667, Leadership and Educational Technology. This course focuses on helping students acquire the concepts and skills necessary to step into a leadership role in the integration and application of technology to Learning organizations. Topics include strategic planning, leadership styles, the institutional change process, and policy issues in educational technology. Students create and share a vision of educational technology for their work place, generate an educational technology plan that supports this vision, and create a proposal to seek funding for all or part of the plan. The design of this course is in a sense a representation of our leadership vision. We look forward to having cross-cadre collaboration, while focusing on a few things: leadership, technology, your ARP and creating and sharing a vision. This site will serve as a central place to meet the other cadre, as a connecting point for links to projects and as an informal (non-blackboardish) place to hang out and let ideas grow! I just wanted to say that I realy enjoyed our TI session last night. It was a great chance to catch up with the Rev9er gang and to begin to develop a constructivist relationship with you. The next several weeks are going to be quite interesting I am sure. Leadership is another area of interest to me. Your insights and those generated by the class will be nuggets of wisdom. Josh and Mitch both, I'm so excited to work with you two! I also really enjoyed last night's TI and am looking forward to sharing more with you, and learning from you too. This class, I think, will be a great opportunity to see some of your ideas come together with tech and leadership... especially with the last project as you enroll others in those bold visions of yours! I think this is going to be a really great class!!

Hi Stacey,
I'm excited to used the website including the blog--gotta love that blogging :-) My problem is that I'm having trouble saving my entries. The system keeps telling me that I'm not logged in even when I am. Any suggestions? Debby written by Stacey, May 08, 2007
Debby... did you get this sorted out?

I like reading the blogs in RSS view. The text is larger and easier to read (bad eyes)
 But how come all the entries are cut short by [...]? Can we do something about that? Write comment
