Welcome to Cadre 9's online portal for EDC 667, Leadership and Educational Technology. This course focuses on helping students acquire the concepts and skills necessary to step into a leadership role in the integration and application of technology to Learning organizations. Topics include strategic planning, leadership styles, the institutional change process, and policy issues in educational technology. Students create and share a vision of educational technology for their work place, generate an educational technology plan that supports this vision, and create a proposal to seek funding for all or part of the plan. The design of this course is in a sense a representation of our leadership vision. We look forward to having cross-cadre collaboration, while focusing on a few things: leadership, technology, your ARP and creating and sharing a vision. This site will serve as a central place to meet the other cadre, as a connecting point for links to projects and as an informal (non-blackboardish) place to hang out and let ideas grow! Let us sell our vision to you, as you work on selling your leadership vision to your audience! |
